What a useful pre-shipment quality check should cover
A generic request to check quality is too vague. A useful inspection begins with the failures that would matter most to your customer.
Build checkpoints from product risk
Simple accessories may need quantity, color, dimensions and appearance checks. Electronics may require connector, function and labeling checks. Apparel may need size, stitching and print review.
Include the parcel experience
Confirm variant matching, product labels, inserts, protective packaging and the final shipping label.
Agree on evidence
Define which findings require photos, measurements or video. Evidence should help your team decide whether to accept, rework, replace or hold affected goods.
Separate inspection from release
Clear acceptance rules prevent a batch from moving forward simply because the dispatch deadline is close.
